Hi Dale - this is just super with excellent eye contact, placement in frame and details. Sharpening wet fur is always a fine line between sharp and too crunchy and I think you've done well here.

Considering the gloomy conditions, you've extracted nice detail & tones on this sub adult here Dale, with a priceless expression that takes this above the norm.

    Hi Dale ,
what a great facial expression with a cool relaxed pose of the cub .I like the clean surrounding of Silver Salmon ? Very nice overall colors and good tonal range in the frame .

I just feel the detail you have extracted is a bit too coarse for my taste ,giving a slightly crunchy look in parts .

    Hello Dale,

I cannot tell you how much I like this - great PP work indeed, and what I love most is the pose you have captured from this little bear, the expectation in his eyes, the resignation as in having to wait for mom to provide, and maybe even a tad of frustration because he was probably told not to interfere in the hunting process...Perhaps all of the above just my imagination, but this is one thought-provoking image I shall remember for a very long time - excellent work - a pleasure to view

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Dale, just love these guys and the sitting pose, paws in his lap and look are just oh so cool, nice timing. The overcast conditions I think have worked in your favour and the environment gives nice standout to the subject, with some lovely colour. Cracking detail, but agree with Andrea that in parts, it does look a little crunchy which is surprising for the %d & at only ISO800, have you used NIK here?

Love the pose, clean environment and "moment".
Have to agree that it's a tad crunchy for my taste, but always tricky with wet fur

Hi Dale, Love the details here , Sharpness can be reduced a tad bit , but a very good image here, the eye contact makes it for me.

I'd love to have an opportunity like this, and you've clearly made the most of the scene presented to you. The eye contact is great, and I love the variation in tones from the head downwards
