This is a nice image and I like the comp and BG and the splash of yellow. The OOF cross in the BG could go if you were so inclined (quickmask, cloning; choose your poison). I think the image is suffering from over-sharpening.

Nice find and pose. I wish for a lower angle and might remove one of the catchlights and the branches in the BG. The bird looks a bit oversharpened on my monitor. Keep them coming!

    Hi Nicolas,
I like your bird...I took the liberty of doing a few modifications to your image...:D I croped just a tad from the bottom and left side of your frame and cloned out the defused criss crossing branches that were slicing your bird up; also cloned out the yellow oof on the upper right side of the frame...what do you think?

    Hello Gus,
Thanks for your interest and good job!
I think that the bird is better positioned with your cropping but I would have kept the BG elements (my preference).:)
