Did not no if I should post this one on the learning forum, do like the fact that I have all fours Owls together and in different poses but the IQ is not so good especially the two outside birds which made me wondered about my dof, suppose looking on the bright side the Ivey leaf could have covered the face of the bird on the left so pleased about that,it was a really difficult situation that these birds where in "excuses! excuses! "so pleased to get a picture and learn from the experience, hope I get the chance again this year, looks promising at the moment. Have done a bit of sharping and nr did toy with the idea of doing something at the top of the image but decided to leave it .

Thanks for looking and your comments on my last post much appreciated.

Hi Keith a nice image as you say could do with more DOF but it's very nice to see 4 of them out at the same time.

Every body has their own attitude ( owls !!).....classic image.
Love the poses, very nicely composed. I like the nice back ground Ivey leaves too.
I will, if mine, remove the white spots on URC.
Great job to have four of them together.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Hi Keith, Barn Owl overload, brilliant, you are very fortunate.

Not sure why you are hesitant about cranking up that ISO, try 6400 just to increase the SS as 1/50 is really low. Agree with Satish about the white spots, plus I might crop out the ivy creeping in on the LHS rather than clone. I really will need to see you when I get back, this is an awesome sighting.

Hi Keith, great eye contact from three of the Owls, obviously sleepy head wasnt interested in posing. Love the raised foot from the third Owl, and seem to have nailed the exposure. I agree about removing the small ivy LLC.

Very unique and lovely image. Thank you for sharing.

P.S. I also concur regarding removing the Ivy leaf and the white spot in the upper right corner.

It's tough to get even two birds to behave for you in one frame. Getting four is terrific. I love the different looks each one gave you, especially the raised foot, and the sleepyhead. Yes to removing the white spots on the right, and the ivy on the left; and yes, some DOF would have been good in hindsight. But I'd be pleased with this one. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a lot guys, don't think I would have a problem with the white spot but the Ivey leaf might be a step to far.

    Cheers Keith.

This is just super cool Keith, congrats on this unique encounter. Great expressions on each of the BO's, and I actually like that the one on the left is peeking around the Ivy leaf.
Thanks for sharing this, I love it.
