    Default Mangrove warbler

I managed to capture this little fellow a few weeks ago again at our local mangrove area. I removed an OOF plant at the right side and cropped from horizontal.

I like the simplicity of this image, beautiful and colourful bird with no distractions, really well done getting a Warbler with there usual skulking habits out in the open .

Beautiful colours on this little guy and the perch, although a bit plain, has just enough curvatures on it to make it interesting. I love the grey BG. I think I would have kept it as an horizontal composition though while keeping the subject the same size in the frame as it is now. As a bonus this would also cut away some of the oof ends of the perch.

I enjoy this one in vertical, maybe beacuse of the diagonal formed by the perch. The warbler is very nice and colorfull, just seems strange the OOF tail.

Hi Lorant, love the yellows on the Warbler, as he pops so well against your grey BG. I like the look of the crooked perch meandering vertically through the frame.

Beautiful image Lorant. The greys and the yellows just compliment each other perfectly. Great colours. Thanks for sharing

Terrific pose, and the colors really pop against the gray. I think Daniel's suggestion is worth a try.

So simple, but the incredible color just keeps my eye riveted on this gorgeous Warbler.
I think any crop would work with the BG here, your choice here is good... I usually prefer horizontals, but it's mostly personal preference.
Lovely image that I really enjoyed Lorant.

Thanks for the many comments, guys. I opted for the vertical crop to have the clean BG (by removing the twig from behind the bird. I will also experiment with the horizontal compositions.
