    Hi Roy,

    I like the pose of the bird and how the perch goes well with the birds colors but there is an obvious problem here with the perch been in front of the bird. There details on the head of the birds also seems a bit too crunchy. Did you ran a large amound of sharpening to that area?

    I agree with Raybel, the branch in front of the subject is rather unfortunate as the WP really offered you a good pose here with such a neatly raised crest. Critical focus also seems to be on the perch near the foot. I do like the subdued light and the BG.

    Hi Roy, lovely leaning forward pose, and I do like the red crest on this fellow. An interesting looking perch, and agree that the part of the perch infront of the WP is unfortunate.

    BTW from the thumb it looks like the WP is flying, with wings extending beyond the frame
