We had this quad pack of 6 week old cheetah cubs all to ourselves on this particular morning, made even more satisfiying that it was under beautiful early golden hour conditions. Cuteness personified
One can see how mother nature privides them with a camouflage coat very similar to that of the well feared & respected honey badger.
Hindsight's a wonderful thing, and would have loved an increase in DOF, but not too concerned as they gave me ample opportunities to get that right, I just liked the way they all presented themselves here in viewing unison.
Selectively toned down the HL's on the FG grass fringe, needed to leave in as it would have left things a little tight for room otherwise.
    Ndutu plains/Serengeti- Nth Tanzania.

D4s 500 f/4 VR 1/640s f/5.6 ISO3200, slight crop for comp, bean bag from front pax seat. Curves, levels, USM in ACR & PS CC.

    C & C most welcome.

    Cheers
    Marc

Oh, the light is sweet here Marc...as are your subjects, just so cute with the fluff.
I like the similar gazes and DOF is fine for me, though it might be more noticable at high res?
    Looking forward to more!

Hi Marc - Super cuteness and great light here. Agree with you about the dof but not a deal breaker. I do feel the image is a little tight and would like a little more room left and right if you have it.

    TFS,
    Rachel

No room on the LHS and the right was cropped to avoid mum's head coming into play, but feel there is ample viewing room here.

Sweeeeet light! Comp works thought I'd like a bit more room on the right... Makes you wonder what has captured their attention. Well done!

Should have said earlier, they had their attention focused on another (heavily pregnant) female that was close by, that soon put some distance between them.

    Hello Marc,

Sweet light indeed and I have not seen such tiny fuzzballs for some time, my most recent cheetah sighting included four cubs twice this size:)

I really like the pose from the little ones and there's a warmth to this image that suits the scene - such a lovely sighting Marc...enjoyed viewing-thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

I rarely use any NR on my D4 & D4s files of 3200 and under, and certainly didn't on this occassion so that might explain it.
