    Default White Morph Reddish Egret

While taking images of the oystercatchers at Bunche beach I heard something land to my left. I was thrilled to see it was the white morph.
I had way too much lens but managed to get a few frames without cutting any bits off. This image is full frame with a sliver off the top.

Hello Gail. This is a fantastic capture. I love the color, pose, details & the great light.
My only advice is to leave a little more space in front.

Fantastic lighting Gail. The pose is terrific as is the POV. Great capture. Just love the water movement on the foot, it shows the movement on the bird, good work and thanks for sharing

Beauty of a full frame here and lovely light on the white morph. I like the extended claw foot and the water trail. Very nice pov and I would also ask for more room on the left. great intensity of the reddish, very nice!

Congrats on the FF encounter with this beautiful WMRE. Love the gorgeous light (super shooting and light angles here), cool habitat setting, and excellent eye-level POV... comp looks good to me.
Thanks also for posting your detailed LR5 adjustments, I'm transitioning right now to LR & PSCC so your workflow info is most helpful.
I like it a lot just as presented... really well done.

Hi Gail, great low shooting angle, and I like the fishing pose leaning forward. I also like the trailing water from the back foot, and the bubbles from the front foot. I do like the warm light too.

I was hoping to see one of these on my trip to Florida but never ran into one. Lucky you Gail. I love the Pose with the raised foot and the nice soft light you captured it in. Well done Gail
