The IQ is excellent and I love the brown BG.
This is lovely but it would have been over the top good if you had been able to move to your left to get the tree out of the frame.

Thanks for the comments guys. I understand what you are saying about the tree. But, I wanted to leave it in, to give the image a show of depth (3D) effect? No? Yes?

Hi Will You know my views on backgrounds and I like ths one. (The bird is spot on mind) Maybe a nother tree on the middle of the space on the right would have balanced it better. Just my penneth.

Superb detail William consistent with that superb lens! I rather like the varied coloured lichen encrusted tree in the BG. Nice one.

Lovely bird! I think the tree competes a lot, but since it's there, you could mitigate it just a little by lowering contrast and saturation on the yellow lichen in the LL corner.

Cropping some of the empty space on the right would balance things a little more, too.

Excellent exposure, color tones, and detail in the Bluetit William, well done.
Even though the OOF tree competes a bit, it doesn't really pull my eye away from your subject... I'm okay with it because the BT looks so good. I might have gone with a 4x5 crop to lessen the negative space to the right.
It's a lovely image and a pleasure to view.

Wow that's a good shot of the blue tit, the detail and colours are spot on. I don't mind the tree in the background, I understand it is a little big, but that is what it is!

Here's what I would do -- hope you don't mind my playing with a lovely image! The bird is more static than active so doesn't need a lot of space to move into. In addition to the crop, I just did a slight desaturation of yellows in the LL corner.
