Default Schedule for servicing a camera body

In general, how often should a camera body be cleaned and serviced? I have a Canon 1D Mark IV that I bought a little over two years ago. I had it serviced at the time, but I'd like to know what the recommendations are for regular servicing - and if it should be done based on length of time or shutter actuations.

    Thanks!

I have never sent a camera body for service and wouldn't do it unless there is a recall.

Thanks, Arash. I guess that's why I've never seen the topic covered here :-).

I'm sending in my 7D, purchased in the fall of 2009, for a C&C with Canon, prior to selling it. It's a benefit from being a member of Canon Professional Services, but I'm only doing it so that the buyer will know that it's clean.
