I guess this will be my introduction to the image forums here. I've been digital a little more than 10 years concentrating on wildlife - both big and small. This shot is from last fall on Stumpy Lake in VA. Normally I prefer cleaner BGs, but I like the contrast of the white egret against the fall colors of the cypress. Comments welcome ~ Ron

Agree with your assessment of the nice colors adding to the scene. The sharpening you employed has added quite a bit of haloing around the bird that is detrimental to the viewing experience. What sharpening did you use?
