I captured this in May of last year during a morning session at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary. It was fascinating to watch as it appeared that the older Skimmers were teaching the younger ones how to do it... the younger ones made some pretty rough splashdowns that were fun to watch. The Skimmers were a good distance out and this is a healthy crop so the IQ isn't great, but I love the head position and trailing water.
