    I was very lucky to find this bird out in the open. It normally skulks in the undergrowth, and the eye is usually the only thing that you see. Taken in April, 2013 in Huatulca, Mexico.

    Nice shot, were in Mexico? recently returned from the Yucatan.

    Thanks. This was taken in Huatulco, which is located on the Pacific coast in the state of Oaxaca.

    A very nice bird but a busy background. You might think about reducing the saturation of the yellows, but mask out the effect on the bird.
