Very nice. I love the texture work! The way the bg textures move into the frame is very nice. The texture on the rose work well with the bg textures. I like the large flower. Is the frame part of 2 Lil Owls textures?

What Anita said. This is very striking with colors that work very well.

The rose is bold enough to work well with the rather strong frame effect, but I wonder if the reds are a little blown out, or at least lacking in detail (not always the same thing). That might be fixable back in the raw conversion.

I love the textures, framing, and colours. The only thing I don't like is the dark vignetting on the corners, I find them a little distracting.

Thanks Diane, and for the critique. I cheated and just used the already enhanced rose jpg image in DAP and didn't modify the output, but I actually like the bold colors although I agree that the red could be toned down. It doesn't look blown very much on my monitor and I can see the paint strokes pretty much all over the rose. If I locate the RAW file I can try it again with the more detailed image than the one I'd already enhanced. I might do that when I get caught up on projects as I'd like to print it sometime.

Thanks Jackie. I know she likes to add a lot of dark not only in corners on her textures. I actually did lighten the darks a little but didn't want to lighten the rest of it.

I shouldn't have said blown, but rather a little lacking somewhat in tonal detail. The texture did pick up and enhance the darker areas down between the petals, but I'm just always looking for he most tonal detail. It's a gorgeous image as presented!

I like the bold Color palette and textures. I particularly like the framing of the image with the blending of color into the frame and the abrupt reduction of texture. The frame looks real.
