At laguna Seca Ranch, we designed Barn Owl nest boxes with photography in mind. A year after installing them we had a pair feeding young while I was there working last week. I set up my gear each night and came back in the morning to see the images I captured. I will have more detail on the setup in my next newsletter coming out this week.

This is impossibly lovely, I must say. The tones are painterly. The action is dazzling. More, please!

10/10 very cool indeed, nice use of flash, sweet that it's got dinner, the sky looks cool, and the birds flight pose is great also.

Even though it's a setup, your skill shines through! The sky, the prey, the pose...all top notch! You nailed it! Sharon

Hmmmm.... I'm going to predict that this image has a good chance of winning "Image of the __________"

Brilliant setup, execution, and capture... and a real pleasure to see Alan.
