Beautiful BG and sharpness! There is the tiniest of halos or a bit of rim light under the gorget, but that is being really picky.

Very nice pose, details and eye contact. I might remove two of the catchlights and lighten the head a bit. There is a little bit of posterization in the BG.

Now Francis, could you set up a flash to light up the gorget? This is a lovely image and a technical marvel. I've never been taught how to do these and reverse-engineering the image is not straightforward.

I love the pose and composition. Excellent background and fine detail throughout. Removing additional catchlights would be nice. Very nice work!

I would like to see his target in frame also. Nice job on the bird, nice wing position and sharpness

I am always amazed by this kind of frozen images. So close, and so beautiful.
It is easy to ask commenters to say something different than 'beautiful' and 'very nice' but when you look at a pearl like this the first word burning into your mind is WOW and lovely and very nice. :) and still... it is sweet :D
