These guys are so beautiful! The IQ has let you down here, most likely due to a large crop, but I think you know that. The reds are well rendered, and you got a good head angle. Try to get the focus point on the eye if possible...here it seems that critical focus is on the wing area where the detail is much better. Still a fun one full of vibrant colours

Nice head turn. Unfortunately the red in the crest, face and breast looks slightly overexposed. You can try to fix it in RAW

A little less crop...and the resulting more environment...might help here. But, you got him with his crest up which is nice. I often wait...and wait...for them to raise it up.
