Taken a month ago in my only foray down to Bombay Hook for the winter to see snowy Owls, did actually see them for the first time in my life, although the owl was sitting on an oil tank, so not terribly photogenic. The light was bad as is customary here in the East Coast, always manage to get cloudy days like this when I go down there. So the light wasn't great, but I found a group of snow geese going about their business in a field, and I liked the odd man out here landing in the middle of the white swarm.

    Hi Dvir,
Nice contrasting subject with the rest of the flock. And it's great that it stood up for you like that with a nice wing flap. I'm okay with the centered position - brings your eye directly to the subject IMO.

I like this and I like your title!
I would crop this as a tighter pano coming in from the top.

The thumbnail gave no hint at what was hiding here. Nicely seen. I do think that composition could benefit from Gail's suggestion which would put more emphasis on your story (Odd man out)

Hi Dvir, what makes this, not only the odd coloured goose, but that he has raised his wings too. Im fine with the central placement, and agree, a bit off the top wont harm.

Great title, timing and capture! Beautiful Wing-Flap. (rather looks like all the other geese are thinking, "Hmph, what a Show-off".)

Thank you all for the input and suggestions. Here is a version that is cropped to perfect 16x9.
