    Another look at this jungle blackbird (pronounced Ka-seeek).
    BG is bright but this is the tropics of Southern Mexico....

    I really like the pose and the composition of this image.
    Love the yellow in the tail.
    i have never seen this bird IRL so can't comment on the blacks.
    Compared to your last shot, the light is definitely harsher but understand the challenges you had,

    I think that the colors of the bird allow him to stand out from the bright background. Love the look at his back and that curved feather on his head. I did a browser scroll and trimmed from the top and left (as viewed ) and see that as an option.

    Hi Dan nice pose of this beauty of a bird . I like the framing and overall colors , but think the image does look a bit flat , easy to solve if wished .

    Hello Dan. This is a tough one with the bright light and yellow and black. It looks excellent to me.

    Nice portrait with a good BG and HA. Good Details. The light was a bit harsh here, you may want to try to increase the density of blacks without making the image more contrasty
