Hi all another frame of the Goslings taken at our local pond in town .

In this frame they have been one week younger than previous posting . Conditions has been rather not that nice on that day , ending up with flat light .
But it is more about the technical situation that amazed me , the 500 II with the 2x TC III , a very nice combo i must say .

    Canon 1Dx
    EF 500 IS L II + 2 x TC
HH lying flat on the ground.

    F 8 ; Iso 2500 ; 1/640 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PS CC , cropped to 70 % of FF , had to work on the BG as there has been a lot of colors from peoples clothes who stayed in the BG to look at all the Goslings . I would have preferred the feet in ......... but from my POV it was not possible .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous thread .

    Cheers Andreas

    Hey Andreas,
Brilliant fine texture on the fluff and the bill is just so smooth.

    Very classy piece of work!

    Regards,

    Gerald

First class as you say shame about the feet but the rest is excellent.

    Outstanding...
The feet are missed, but the IQ on the chick is over the top...

Very cute, good details. I also wish the feet were visible , this is where a higher shooting angle would have actually been better. A slight head turn towards us would have been ideal too.

    Hi Andreas

Very nice texture and sharpness on the little guy!

Was this FF to use F8?
    Regards

    Andre.

Hi Andre thanks for your comment , actually i do not understand the context of your question regarding FF and F8 ?

Reason for F8 was to see how the lens and the 2xTC work at wide open aperture , hope this is the answer to your question

    Cheers Andreas
