This is the same little chap I posted previously but this is after he was almost eaten and then almost drowned! I tried several different crops but went for this eventually.
    All C&C welcome.

Hi Jonathan, Nice mouse. I like the wet look. Looks like you posted in the wrong forum though. I still like the capture of the struggling behavior.

    Hello Jonathan!

Is this for me? Just kidding... I really love it, I am so fond of those little creatures, and I really wish you had a few images of him climbing this bush, to post in Sequences forum!

You depicted so well this little chap's struggle to make it to the top and escape peril, and his wet look and expression of relief makes my heart shrink:) Your choice of crop/framing works well because it gives an idea of his positioning (high among the branches and well above wet ground).

Another title that comes to mind is "The Narrow Escape of the Harvest Mouse" - one could always add a tad more info to create more interest...

Thank you Jonathan, always such a pleasure to view your images

    Have a great week, regards

Hi Jonathan - I somehow missed this one earlier. Interesting to see the battle for survival. You did well threading the needle to get the mouse sharp through all the branches. I like the wet look and that we can see the toes gripping the branches.

Looks and sounds like he's had a rough day. Nice clarity and detail, and in this case, the branches do not distract at all.

This is a very interesting image. Nice image design, good eye contact and I love that the mouse is wet almost like it fleeing from the danger of the water and hanging on for dear life.

Hi Jon, still away, but given both the tech aspects and location, excellent work. Seems a bit early for them to be surfacing I would have thought, or are the milder temps still continuing? They milder weather is certainly are here in BC, even to the point Bear signs have been posted and a couple of bears have been sighted about 40km away!

Steve, it was the flood that caused him to appear, but no bears here - too cold I guess

Thanks Jon, BTW if it was cold then the bears would be hibernating as they should be, because it's so unseasonably warm they have started to emerge, not ideal for both parties.
