Been trying my luck at a few scenic shots for a change ( as opposed to flight and portrait). What is interesting about this photograph is that it is taken on a pan in Benoni, which is a densely populated suburb in Gauteng, South Africa. And the duck is a fairly hard to connect with one; the White-backed duck.

Look forward to your thoughts and suggestions

I enjoy scenic shots like this Richard, I will be posting a few here soon also. Because it's more of an aesthetic image, it will appeal to some and not as much to others. Serenity is a good title and the image conveys that sense to me. I like the crop and BG, and the low level POV. Refreshing to see scenic images, I like it.

I agree with Kirk, this image appeals to me aswell. Nice POV on the duck and a good HA. I would have liked to see more details on the BG, but thats just me. Lovely image as it is. Good work and thanks for sharing

I like these types of images too. Good that the duck is angling towards us. I like it overall, but I would have liked to have seen more of the blue strip above.

I would trade a bit off the bottom for more blue on top. Love the concept.
