The sheer power in that tail is quite amazing - thank you Dan for sharing another image of this very unique sighting!

Love the presentation, happy with the techs, lovely BG with the city and mountains barely there:)

    Kind regards,

Just a fantastic occasion to witness, let alone capture Dan and the image quality is better than your previous whale tail image.
The mountain BG adds to the overall scene as well and agree with Gabriela that the power generated in the tail is nicely depicted.

Hi Dan spectacular scene with a very nice spray /flow of water from the tail . Nice comp , too.
Watch out for halos along the whale /sky . The blacks and 3/4 tones does look a bit flat to me , but that could be addressed if wished .

Hi Dan - Great splash and control of the whites. I too think this one is better than your prior post. Nice comp with Puerto Vallarta and its hills behind the image. I also like the placement of the tail in the frame. I see the halo along the tail as well.

    Rachel

The angle of the tail gives this one more of a sense of motion than your previous post. Love the splash wall and the the BG mountains.

Lovely image, the detail and IQ looks a lot better than the last whale post. I love the Tail angle and the exposure on the water and splashes is spot on. Lovely stuff!

Hi Dan, all been said above, but would agree with Andreas on the blacks.
