    I struggle with these ducks. I am going with the Greater because of the shape of the head, the green iridescence, and that is sits low in the water. If I am wrong please comment. Image captured at Lake Mirror, Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Hi Joe, I like the details on the head area of the bird. Nice HA. I would crop some off the bottom of the image. Well done and thanks for sharing

    I like the fact we can see its foot under the water. Neat "low swimming" pose. Cool green and purple sheen on the head. The duck is sitting quite high in the frame for my tastes. These two species can be very difficult to tell apart.
