Good one, Satish. Great wing position, nice water splash and lovely light. Good detail on the near wing; slightly less so on the head (DOF?).

Super exposure and nice action, I am sure it is easier said than done but a lower angle would have made the image more dynamic.

Nice exposure and action. I would like to see a bit faster SS to freeze the wings.

We don't often see herons bathing so for that reason the image is special. Nice raised wings and water splash and drops. Bummer that there seems to be a drop slightly obstructing the front of the eye, but all-in-all a very enjoyable image.

An attractive image Satish, I don't know the heron, and as Daniel mentioned, rare to see them bathing. Nice light on the open wings.

Love the light. Very unusual to see them bathing so congrats on this action shot.
I think the face could be sharpened a bit.

With my sincere apology to all members,
All of you are right about Pond Heron. They do not take bath.
This image was stored in a folder of Activities of birds on hard disc and while searching for images of bird bathing, unknowingly, I have uploaded in Feb,2015 Theme.

Thank you all for your feedback and appreciation.

    Regards,
    Satish.
