    Very nice take off pose and exposure control. I only wish he would have flown more toward you. There is a slight sharpening halo around legs and bill.

    I was just thinking the same as Axel. I really like the pose and colors...... just wish for a turn of the head and no halos. Good job getting out there and finding some nice birds.

    nice capture Bill, few sharpening halos as noted, but I see a definite overall blue/cyan cast here.
    Does this look different to you? Did an overall white balance and left a little warmth in the egret

    Great job on the exposure and managing to catch the action !

    Agree about the head position. Whites look better in repost.

    Here is my adjustment for youe consideration. I set the White Balance point using the curves adj and also reduced contrast a little to my taste.

    I here head turns are in CS4. Other than that, nice image. Reposts are better.
