    At pool No 3
    When they bathe they really do ! -almost a frenzy of activity once they get going. At one of my four pool setups.Funny how once birds get used to a certain bit of water or a puddle they will stick to it even when there are floods all around.

    I like the action and all the water spray.
    Your slow SS made for a neat effect with the drops.
    A bit of a head turn our way would have been lovely but certainly not a deal breaker.
    I would evict the white floating leaf in LLC,

    This bird is really getting into this bath and the slow mo really help to portray that. That splash is priceless.

    What a perfect splash, John. Love all the head and neck feathers splayed. Look at the concentration in that eye.

    Superb image of bathing jay with expression of surprise !! Spectacular and artistic water spray. Beautiful wet erect feathers on head.

    I usually don't like bird bathing images, especially songbirds. . .they just look weird to me. However, I really like this shot, a great natural look. Nice details and action.
