    This is another frame of the handsome female Merlin from SoCal. Prey was a dragonfly

    1D-X 600 II + 1.4X III ISO 2500. F/5.6 at 1/2500sec. hand held from Dave's truck that we used as a blind. Processed with DPP 4. hope you like it

    Man, you guys have some awesome shots from this location!
    Love the dragonfly prey.
    IQ is awesome and love the complimentary BG colors and the color palette of the image.

    its all been said,superb IQ,nice pose BG and perch,curios on perch,the small upright piece of woodthat goes through the middle of the big piece,is it a nail head?.

    Another killer frame from what could be our once in a lifetime experience Arash. Wouldn't it be awesome if she came back next year just like Lady kestrel. Not only was she ultra cooperative but she was a Beautiful one too.
    The shot looks great as always and I'm glad you got to experience this with me. Take care.

    Oh, so you don't thinks Arash is serious, my truck is bright red. I wanted to painted green but never got around to it. Maybe I should just keep it red, the birds seem to like it :)
