Hi Christopher. Beautiful frame. Like the angle of view, light, position and all details of bird. TFS.

    Cheers,

Everything to like about this one - great point of view, fine detail and composition. The Goosander looks great against the dark water and background.
    Thanks for sharing.

Every goosander I've tried to photograph has been very skittish so kudos to you, especially with the low angle which sets it off superbly.

Nice one Christopher, lovely light and very crisp, I like the image as it is......
I wonder just slightly about sharpening setting, it looks just a little crunchy to me, maybe a smaller radius or slightly less sharpening would be worth a look - it may be be out on a limb - no one else has commented.

Grand shot whatever Chris.. My first impression was however that it looked a little over sharp. Maybe its my monitor setting. I have been playing !!!

Sweet colors, light and details, Chris. I like the bubbles around the chest. I too thought backing off the sharpness just a tad wouldn't hurt the image. Nicely done.

    Lovely.
I always do a happy dance when I see the setting or rising sun in the birds eye.
Really like your POV and the setting/habitat.I really like the light here.
I might clone out or tone down the vertical branch in the black area at the top of the frame to the right of birds head.
