Went down to the Atlantic coast beach just north of Vero Beach, Fl late this afternoon for a walk with my Nikon 1 V2 and ran into a number of Willets scrounging for food in the surf. Spent some time photographing them with this little camera which I outfitted with Nikon's new VR 70 -300 f/4.5 - 5.6 lens. I found the results to be quite satisfactory and I would like to know what you all think. Shooting info as follows (remember the reach of the lens is a multiple of 2,7):

    Nikon 1 V2
    2015:02:24 16:458
    70-300mm @ 204.5mm
    552mm (in 35mm film)
    1/3200 sec, f/5.6
    Mode: Manual
    Metering: Multi-segment
    ISO: 800
    AF mode: AF-C
    White balance: SUNNY
    Flash: Off
    File size: 12.4MB
    Image size: 4620 x 3084
    Color space: AdobeRGB
    Saturation: Normal
    Sharpness: Normal

Please let me know what you think. Thanks ahead of time.

nice pose and good details. The image is a bit bright and the highlights in the BG are a bit distracting. I would put more room around the bird

arash- Thanks for your thoughts regarding this image. In the repost I used less crop and darkened down the exposure a notch. I think it looks better. What do you think?

    Thanks again.
