    Default Curlew Take-off (Numenius arquata)

    Hello all,

The bird was standing on a small rock, visible in the right-under corner.
I knew it would not take long before the bird would fly away, because the water was rising....

    Comments are welcome!

    Kind regards,
    Kees

That's very impressive for that focal length and crop! You do very well with the equipment you have -- this would be a challenging focus situation with the latest and greatest gear. I hope you'll keep exploring the possibilities with it!
