    Default Canvasback cupping the wings

Love shooting these divers and the cold weather has really been pushing them together on the bay. Canon 7DII 500F4, ISO200,F4.5@3200sec. Yes I see the small white blob just behind the head in the BG and I'm ok with it. Thanks for looking.

Hi Joe! Well managed DOF. Like sharp details and natural colors. Would like to see with opened wings and in your frame some more room at the bottom and a bit of the top too. TFS.
    Cheers,

Wow, thats a pretty impressive incoming frame of a duck species you normally don't get that close to, so great job there. I don't mind the cupped wing position at all and I really like the good look at the red eye and those big diver feet. Exposure and details look killer! Great work Joe.

Brilliant capture, Joe. Remarkable detail throughout and like the intense stare at its eventual landing location.

Hi Joe, great 3D effect here, and this fellow is really popping out of my screen. Excellent DOF, sharp, and just love that red eye. I like the blues of the water too. Just a personal matter, but Im not too keen on your squarish comp.

nice dynamic pose and a great view of those webbed feet! light was sweet. I'd try to get a bit more detail in the neck black.
