Killer image and what an amazing pose and opportunity. I understand this is your vision for your choice in composition, but I have to say that I believe it's more powerful with this crop b/c there is less dead space below and therefore more focus on your amazing subject and behavior.

Colours, perch, pose and details - check! I agree with Marina on the crop.

Unusual pose, but I like it. Composition wise, Marina's version looks better.

Hi Sid, striking colours again on this fellow, and well exposed on the blacks. Love the curves from the pose, great BG, and Im sticking with your comp in the OP.

What a great frame Sid! It's full of color and fun. The inquisitive pose is totally cool and I like the green BG with this guy. Your techs look perfect with that cool rim lighting and I really like the details in the blacks. The comp looks fine as is but I do see Marina's point as her comp directs my eye straight to it's eyes. Great stuff from CR!

Another Costa Rica Beauty Sidharth! I like the interesting pose, details, clean BG and both compositions work for me.

Very nice image. Pose is awesome and I like the OP more for some reason, but the 2nd version is good too. Well done.

Fun image. The rich green background is such a perfect compliment for your bird. Love the pose and find detail. As for the comp, I like both and I think it depends on your purpose. Nice to have choices!

Marina, I'm really liking the idea of cropping tighter to focus more on that fun pose. Thanks for the repost!
