Default COOL CREEK REFLECTION - THEME

I do not recall posting a reflection image in this forum: thus, a theme qualifier. While with my daughter in Indiana, my grand dog and I would take a walk along Cool Creek. The image was taken in the late afternoon from a footpath bridge. I thought the riffle added a bit of interest. I tried flipping the image; but, did not like it. No PP other than a touch of Fractalius.

Very pretty pastoral scene Gary. I like ice at the top anchoring the image and the way the water has skewed the reflection of the branches and the clouds. Nicely done. (Looks like ripples, not ice, my bad.....I am on holidays and just viewing on my IPad)

Nice image, very well seen. I agree that the disturbed water at the top adds a lot of interest. Nice job with the subtle processing too!

Nice job. I really like this reflection. The composition is excellent, with the tree coming in from the right. The clouds at the bottom and the choppy water at the top balance and frame the tree reflection, and add interest. I agree that the riffle adds interest. Excellent.

This one has grown on me, a good sign. A second and third viewing are rewarded. I like that.

At first I thought it was a flip. Then saw the clouds still in the upper area. Looking at it more, I see the interesting details. Ripples vs the branches.... I"m glad you didn't make it totally bw. the blue cast softens it just right.

I really like how this image starts out looking black and white at the top, then as you look down the blue color starts to be visible, the cloud makes it even better.....good work Gary.

Thanks to all for the look and comments. The color palette of the image is straight out of the camera. I did not convert it to B&W.

This is a great one for the old 180 deg rotation (or vertical flip) trick!
