    Default Baby Osprey Trying to Fly

    Still on the nest, with the mother perching closing by trying to induce the baby to fly. He gives it a few tries, but is not quite ready.

    I like it. Great pose and look at those talons! It looks like the legs may be overexposed. Thanks for posting.

    Won't be long now, will it? Neat to have the opportunity to observe these birds. Image is sharp and the sky is a lovely shade of blue.

    Love the pose! Tough bird to expose and you did very well I think, leg and spot on head might be a bit over exposed, in the grand scheme of things very well done!!!!

    Hi Michael Agree with above Just one third less light and sure wish that other wing was stretch out !!! Maybe it can't fly but sure has the determination !!!!

    You will be getting lots of flight chances at this nest. Would suggest to camp around it when the conditions are favorable. Need some wind for your best images and must be from the direction of the sun !!! Good luck !!!
