Really cool topside banking pose showing the beautiful colors and markings of the BP Lyle. Detail and HA are very nice, and you captured your subject against a killer good BG. I'm cool with the landscape crop, but this looks like a good candidate for a vert too. It seems you like your images with pretty strong blacks and an overall darker tone, which is totally cool... my preference would be to protect the whites and add a bit of overall brightness to the image, but that's personal taste. Well done, I like it a lot. :-)

Wow, great BG. Details rock and excellent exposure on the whites.

Beautiful contrast in this image, and you handled the whites nicely. I wouldn't increase the highlights, I like it just the way it is Lyle. You get to appreciate the birds feathers, with just a smidgin of shadow. Nicely captured!

love the dorsal view and the BG. details are sharp and the fanned tail adds to the image. I might be tempted to try this in a vertical comp.

I like the banking pose, details, sharpness and BG. I could see this a vertical but still a beauty as presented. Excellent image Lyle.

    Hi Lyle,

I really like the dorsal view here and you nailed the focus and exposure. Great flight pose. This must have been in front of those orange rocks on the far bank. I really enjoyed the outing. Let's do it again.
