Taken in Costa Rica about a week ago. With my luck it rained every day... I went with a couple of retired friends and had to accommodate more that I would have wanted... but now I have the lay of the land and cant wait to go again...

    7D2, 700mm, 1/800, f/6.3, ISO 800, HH, fill flash. cropped for comp.

Nice capture of a beautiful species here Enrique... I don't see any raindrops though. :-)
Wing position is excellent showing off those almost translucent looking wing feathers... very cool.
Beautifully rich colors throughout, with clean and natural detail as well.
My only suggestion would be to crop out about half the distance between the wings and left edge of frame to decenter the NJ.
Lovely image very well done, and a pleasure to view.

Nice subtle use of flash, and great action with neat habitat inclusion as well. I saw this species in Belize, but didn't come away with anything as good as yours.

Gorgeous bird with great detail and pose! The vegetation at the bottom is different and very nice. I like the crop.

This is awesome. Looks like fill flash really helped with the detail in the darks. I like the re-post. The only crit I can find is maybe slightly burning down some of the FG. I could also see a version with more room to the right and less room on the bottom.

Great frame Enrique, I like the dynamic profile and the display of habitat, good exposure and details.

I like the wing position, running pose, open beak, clean BG and composition in the repost. Too bad about all the rain you had in CR. Look forward to seeing more from your trip.
