Hey Morkel,
I like the pano crop and the trees in the BG. Nice timing on the cheetah's pose, gives a good sense of speed and motion. This one seems a little flat and dark compared to your usual posts?

Hi Morkel - Nice timing to have the cheetah at full run and good to see how it uses the tail as a rudder. Also good not to have anything intersecting the cheetah. I like the wide view with the inclusion of habitat. I agree with Steve that it seems a little flat, particularly the greens of the habitat.

Morkel,
Great action and landscape, though I would agree with the image looking a little on the flat side. This could also be as there is no colour profile embedded.
On taking the image into PS, I do feel there is a cast across the image. I have done an average blur on the 'lights' channel and I think it may help twaeak it up a notch.

I liked it the way it is . Lovely Cheetah-scape. Always a wonderful sight when the habitat is included.

Superb action scene Morkel. The crop works well, great running pose by the cheetah which you caught perfectly & typical Mara setting. Great stuff.

This one really appeals to me Morkel, great framing and the leg positions are good. The overall presentation works for me as in the OP

Hi Mork, great action, and well done in capturing the cheetah in full flight. Great panning skills with a 500mm.

Hello Morkel,
You are probably well asleep now but I am catching up with all I have missed while away:) This is certainly one of my favourites when it comes to your recent posts ( then comes the lion cub resting on Mom's back of course), here the pano crop works so well and oh-this-gorgeous-cheetah about to stretch its long slender limbs and cover ground as fast as only a cheetah can - I am very taken with this, kind of jealous because it's not mine
, love every bit of it and congratulations for capturing this moment so well!!!
Warmest regards (or rather, sleep tight)
