Wow... this is a fantastic image Kester. My first impression is the wonderfully rich colors and super clean detail, nice post work. Love the room to the right in your composition where those beautiful eyes are looking, and the BG is killer good. As good as it gets for a BO flight shot... excellent work!

Good stuff Kester. Just enough wing blur. A little something in the BG would lift it for me, but we all have our preferences.

    Thanks guys.

For me, I wish I had more space on the bottom.

A Cracking in-flight Kester, IQ looks very good for ISO 2000, you could add some canvas on the bottom, if needed.

Great timing Kester, great detail from the 7d2 (just as I'd talked myself out of getting one). Perfect world scenario would have been a bit more of a face on shot, but that's probably a bit harsh given the lack of control you have over speedy wild subjects.

I'm going to try for a few of these in Florida in a few months, if I get anything like this I'll be pretty chuffed with myself

Fantastic shot, tack sharp. Good BG. The white on the face may be a touch hot but I'm on a MAC lap top, so not ideal. May be burning it a little. TFS. Loi

Hi Kester, lovely flight shot and I like the angle too. Killer BKG with some lovely subtle colours that tie in with the subject, a belter of an image. Agree with you about a hint more below, an easy fix certainly.

Fantastic image here Kester. I love the pose, light, and killer eyes. Although you do not need much more room below, I do agree about adding some...and with this smooth BG it should be an easy tweak. Nicely done.

Beautiful. Everything works. The whites on my Mac Retina display looks right on. Adding to bottom would be simple. Let me know if you want me to do a quick edit.

sweet dynamic pose with a nice BG. I agree with toning down the highlights and perhaps a bit more sharpening on the face

    well done Kester!

Wow!! I shoot a lot of Burrowing owls in flight and I have to say, that is one beautiful frame. The green BG makes this one special along with the solid techs and details. Very nice.
