Often while photographing birds, usually in summer months, these beautiful creatures are practically under foot dining on the abundant wild grasses and small green leaves. This pose standing tall was for a better look at me. Went right back to grazing. C&C welcome.

Geoffrey, what's not to like here?
I love the pose, stare and the framing by the greens. Overall a well balanced shot and exposure, well done
I might look at reducing some magenta in the hare?

Hi Geoffrey - Morkel has covered it nicely. Great standing pose and look down the barrel. Nice lush greens but maybe a tad too much magenta in the fur.

    Geoffrey,

I have nothing to add to Morkel's critique except to say I have a similar and favorite image that I took when I was out for birds but happened to turn around and there was a gorgeous Hare who stayed long enough for me to get the shot. Sometimes fortune falls in our laps.

    Cheers,
    Katie

Nice pleasing image with good balance and I like the eye contact. He really pops from the green grass. As Morkel; says maybe reduce the magenta a little on the hare.

    Hi Geoffrey,

A bit late here but just wanted to say I enjoyed this image very much, love the inquisitive look from this character! Well framed and presented, and I hope you had a chance to look at the slight magenta cast mentioned by Morkel and Rachel above Would like to see more images from you in this forum, when possible:)

    Kind regards,
