Nice and sharp, the composition with the goose entering the frame looks good and the open beak/calling says to me: "here I come!" I like the rounding of the breast feather detail and good wing position, too.

Nice and sharp as already stated, but the composition is not working for me. It could be because I'm more used to seeing in-flight photos with the entire bird in the shot though. Then again, I'm new to bird photography myself.

Looks like you got the head perfectly sharp, which is the most important part. Love the open, calling beak! I also like the blur of the primary feathers on the near wing.

I really like the comp!!!! Nice and sharp, loads to love here. My only 'very small' critique is the shadow on the wing which is a small bit distracting.

    Really great image, good going!

I like it a lot Eric !!! Don't mind the cropped bird at all. Has the feeling of being cropped not clipped.

Very sharp and well exposed. Would remove the brown oof area from intersecting the head and the one green spot on the left center. Shadow wise not much you could have done except having the bird with full up wing position. It could be removed but would be an act of love !!! Excellent image !!!

    Eric,
Nice capture on the action. I guess this was taken on the spur of the moment type of deal... I guess that justifies the clipped wing...:D Keep them coming...:)

Great capture Eric. I like it the way it is. Totally different shot. Very sharp and I like the blurred wings.
