    This bird has lost in the Canadian winter, should be in Florida or Arizona or Texas instead.
    I just read that he is dying and probably won't survive tonight's -41 degrees Celsius (with the wind chill) temperature, (equals to -42 degrees Fahrenheit)
    Birders were providing him food so far.

    Sad story for this beauty. Interesting plumage for this species. I like the low angle.

    Karl, hope the beautiful bird makes it. I like the low angle, nice DOF, great colours and details.

    I've been following this fella's progress on other sites, sad to see it slowly succumbing to the harsh winter. Glad you got a nice picture of it Karl. Normally the scattered feed on the ground would be less than ideal (IMO), but considering the circumstances I could certainly be happy with this.

    BTW, I read that it survived the night.....

    Wow! Karl -41 degrees now that is cold, poor bird hope it makes it, it's a cracking looking bird.
