Default Arkansas Long-tailed Duck Wing Flap

    Name: Long-tailed Duck WIng Flap.jpg
Views: 156
Size: 210.5 KB

Shot this the same day as some of others I posted in my dad's pond in Arkansas.

    Techs:
    D3S
    700mm
    1/2000
    f8
    ISO 640

All C&C welcome. Pretty healthy crop (especially for the D3S), used Viveza to de-structure the BG.

I like the pose, plumage, water and background. I slight turn towards the camera would have put it over the top.

The bird stands out from the BG very well. A little turn towards you would have been a bonus here. Very nice pose, low angle and settings. Well done.

    Killer IQ and angle.
Bird's position doesn't bother me at all...

I love the long tailing point up! Beautiful setting and I really like the vertical streaks of the reflection.
