    Default Black Skimmer-the diver

This one looks like the skimmer is bathing, it is diving into the water with full force leaving a big splash behind. I'm glad the eye is visible under the water and looks like it is open.
I had to reduce the jpeg quality to fit into the size limit. I don't know what makes this file that heavy.

You're right about that one eye making a big difference in a keeper and a delete. Love this and it's not easy to capture!!! I would personally take some off of the bottom, maybe even the left if you like. I don't feel as though it adds anything to the image but rather detracts from the amazing and unique behavior/action you have captured.

This is a great shot Lorant. I like it just the way it is, and also agree that the eye definitely makes the shot here. All the detail is perfect in the splash.

Not sure why your image is large, could be the details in the splash which are hard for the JPG to compress. Or maybe make sure your color profile is Adobe RGB.

Excellent splashing action!! I especially like the waters meeting together between the two wings. Compositionally I have the same thoughts that Marina has already suggested. I've been enjoying your skimmer images :-)

Very dynamic low angle shot. Great image, Lorant.

Great piece of watery action, the water between the wings is super, excellent image.

I love this. That eye poking up is fantastic. IQ is great and judging by that splash, it looks like you caught him right when he hit the water. That powerful splash really adds a lot.
