Must have been one massive whiteout, I can't see anything LOL.

Thanks, I fixed it for some reason the attachment didn't post at first.

Hi Rachel, it's quite a 'bold' image, almost bordering on illustrative IMHO, perhaps due to the angular lines of the Elk and minimal colour. Certainly having some variable tone and banding in the early morning sky helps, but I'm just not too sure about the solid black? Just my take, trust others will chime in too, be good to get some different takes on this.

Thanks Steve. There wasn't anything interesting in the fg so I purposely went very dark and wanted only the outlines rather than any detail.
Thanks again,
Rachel

Hey Rachel, We came so close to getting the spectacular light.... I'm very fond of silhouette wildlife images. I done very well commercially with them. This is a very good composition with no overlap and an indication of motion. I like the follow the leader idea! I wouldn't be opposed to pumping up the color in the sky a bit. But that's a personal decision.

Hi Rachel,
I like the separation of the four and that you can see almost all the legs, as well as ears and horns. I also like the subtle banding and colors of the sky.

Thanks Dale and Steve, much appreciated.

I quite like this. Great fine detail along the silhouette and I love the streaks in the sky. I would like to see more colour in the sky if you can.

Wonderful silhouette image, Rachel. Like the subtle pastel quality of the sky.

Hi Rachel,
I really like the silhouette treatment to this and I wonder if you considered taking some off the top to give it a panoramic look? another vote for pumping up the sky just a bit.
Cheers,
Katie
