Hi Dale, looks like this guy is on a mission. The front paws off the ground, pebbles being churned up, gives a nice sense of speed & urgency of the bear, nice display of those claws too. can I assume the bear being vertical this was shot on a slopping coastline? Personally I might have removed the darker stone in the FG, it just catches my eye.
Hi Dale - I certainly wouldn't want to be on the end of a swipe from those claws. Nice sense of movement here with the posture and kicked up rocks/sand. I like the low pov and the placement in frame.
I like the comp of this one and the subtle glance toward the viewer. Also really like the color combo. He looks a little on the thin side but still well muscled (maybe a young one?) I'm also guessing those ears aren't laying back to make him run faster. More details about what was going on? Would love to hear them.
Nice action and head-on shot here Dale.
I might try and work on lightening the eyes just a smidge (obviously ensuring it doesn't look unnatural after doing so).
The ears being back gives a nice feeling of speed/intensity.
