    I like the close up details, sharp. Side light is not great however, I would try to photograph at a different location where the sun is behind you

    Lovely fine feather detail Bill and I especially like the way you've caught the glow of light through the tip of her bill.

    Good plumage detail, I would be tempted to do a little eye doctoring and consider lburning the brightest areas a little.

    Great detail! I really like the well handled side lighting, it really makes the bird pop from the bg! Is this a female Common Eider?
