    Default Scaup sliding in...

Not sure if this is a Lesser or Greater? Canon 7DII 500f4, ISO250,f6.3@2500sec. RAW converted in DPP. It was tight on the right side so I had to stretch the canvas. Thanks for looking and CC.

Good for you, Joe, getting one to land so close to you. The dangling feet and water droplets on the belly add much interest and the angle of the landing is perfect. I do wish that the near wing had a little nicer extension and in processing, I bet that you have some details hiding in the blacks of the head that you could enhance. Good job on the canvas extension.

    Hi Joe,
Love the water droplets and the incoming pose. Agree about more detail in the blacks on the head. Nice details on the body.

I like the dynamic pose, nice colors and the low angle paid major dividend here. I would try to get more detail in the head blacks. love the feet but wish the near wing was in a better position

    well done

Very nice Joe! I love all the beads of water on the chest and belly. The feet look great. Far wing is excellent...near one not so much, but the overall pose is quite dynamic and fun. I agree with the blacks on the head. Really nicely done.

Hi Joe, its always fun capturing incoming poses of ducks, and you certainly nailed this one. Great exposure and detail on the body and far wing, and agree with a touch more 'exposure' on the head.
