I captured this Eider displaying to nearby females. I thought he looked so proud and pretty sexy. I also noticed for the first time, a line of green feather between the black and white on the head and also in front of the tail feathers with the white. Never noticed this before but it shows here with the light direction.

    Thanks for looking.

Cool pose William. The chest has a pink tint on my screen?

Great pose. Water is a bit distracting with the heavy shadows in it.

    Hi William,
Very nice pose you caught. He does look like he is putting on quite a display. I'm wondering if some of the whites on the bird are just a little hot.

I like the pose and colors, the main issue here is strong side light that has caused heavy shadows.

The light was challenging but the pose looks great, William.

William nits covered, I do like the pose, might try to lighten the eye but sometimes it's best left alone, nice shot.

    Cheers Keith.

I like the pose, colours, sharpness. Tough exposure situation due to the dynamic range of the subject and light angle.

A fine exposure Bill---I like the way the image has caught the play of light on the feathers at the transition from shadow to light created by the posture of the bird .
