    The grey reference is, of course, meant as a joke. Burrowing Owl from a long, long, long time ago (2/2011) seen at Cape Coral, Florida, USA.

    Canon 1DM4, 600mm, f/4, 1/500, ISO 2500, + 1/3, with tripod.

    Those eyes are amazing! Love the poses, low angle, habitat. You did really well, but I have to say that the female looks not too pleased at the situation!

    I had the same thought as Daniel...the female looks a bit perturbed. A good frame with lots of interest and as with most owl images, the eyes really draw me right in.

    Looks to me as though you may have disturbed some hanky panky! Love the way they are both looking at you perturbed. Good low angle and use of habitat.
