    I think I may have been spotted as I photographed this ram during the rut. 40D, 1-400L, f6.3, 1/250s, ISO 640, HH, cropped some off top and right side (as viewed), blended in tip of a bright rock in the BG.

    Oh yeah! He did see you Steve! I like the pose, the eye contact and the tilted head angle.

    Hi Steve - Great look and pose he gave you. The wild eye more typical of the rut. The comp works well too. If it were mine I would reduce the magenta coming through on the nose and horn.

    Hi Steve, great eye to eye contact here, and love the overall detail you captured, especially on the horn. Great OOF BG too.

    Love when the rams do this .. Great detail and love the eye. You could probably see your reflection in it!

    Hi Steve, pretty impressive for the 40D, nice detail and I like the hint of rock/sky top RHC, breaks up the BKG colour which I think just a adds a bit more too it. Love the jaunty angle of the head.
